This piece is inspired by a text by José Luis Borges:
“Imagination is made of conventions of memory. If I had no memory, I couldn’t imagine ”.
The concept of memory has been a recurring resource in many of my works. Music is an art in time, therefore, memory is an important tool to build the musical discourse in our mind. In this piece, the listener will remember different materials that will be developed in the course of the piece, which, like a mosaic, will be transformed throughout it. Creating a network of instrumental connections that call us back to the connections of our neurons in our brain.
