Conductor

Enrique Busto has studied Orchestra Conducting at the “Robert Schumann Hochschule” in the German city of Düsseldorf with Rüdigher Böhn. He has taken different conducting courses with Enrique García Asensio, Octav Caleya, Juan Carlos Sempere, Juan Luis Pérez, Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan and Vicente Beltrán. He currently receives advice from Lucía Marin.
As a conductor, highlight the performance of Manuel de Falla’s “Amor Brujo” at the Gran Teatro Falla within the V Festival of Spanish Music in Cádiz, as well as at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, as a student exchange project with the Cádiz conservatory. As well as a concert tour through the province of Cádiz with the Cádiz Provincial Youth Orchestra and the Music Band of the “Manuel de Falla” Conservatory of Cádiz.

Enrique Busto is currently the artistic director of two groups that have their headquarters in his hometown, San Fernando.

On the one hand, he has been the conductor of the “Maestro Agripino Lozano” Music Band (Antigua Cruz Roja) since September 2014. With it, he has done an intense work in the assembly of concerts of different themes such as: original music for band, transcriptions of orchestral pieces, film music, Easter music, pasodobles, …

On the other hand, he is the artistic director of the Orchestra “The Playbillers” specialized in film music and musicals. He has been a founding member of it since August 2018. An orchestra that in its short but intense career has carried out projects such as: monograph by John Williams, The Lord of the Rings, Broadway Musicals, Disney Classics, …
